We believe every player should experience the warmth and organic compression that defined some of the greatest recordings in history. In my opinion tube amplifiers create a playing experience not yet achieveable from solid state.
About the 484
The 484 is a touch responsive 25 watt amplifier designed for clean to driven tones. The amp consists of a 3 stage preamp with a long-tailed pair phase inverter. There is an impact switch on the first stage. In the down position the amp has a more rounded lower midrange focus. In the up position the focus shifts to the upper mids with a slight gain increase. It has a post-phase inverter master volume driving a quad of EL84 valves with a late stage edge switch to accentuate pick attack. The 484 can easily acheive 110+ decibels everywhere from clean to overdriven sounds. The master volume allows for excellent tones even at lower volume settings.
